A sailing starts with General and the others open as people on board ask for them, so a quiet ship does not greet you with empty rooms. Anyone can request a password-protected room for their own group.

A scanned ID and a liveness check gate every like, message and match, plus the adult and spicy rooms. Open rooms need a signed 18+ attestation. Documents are processed by a verification provider and never stored by Nautir.
Android blocks them outright on protected screens. iOS gives no app the power to stop a screenshot, so Nautir logs the attempt instead, and three in a day locks the account for a week. Screen recording triggers a blur overlay.

Match chats and rooms both go read-only after midnight Eastern on the day your cruise ends. Every message, room and group chat is deleted seven days after the sailing ends. A community connection ends after 90 days without a message, or the moment either person ends it, and is deleted seven days after that.

Join topic-based rooms on your sailing, ask Kai (your AI concierge) about your ship, match with verified cruisers, and keep the people you click with in your Crew from sailing to sailing. It is free on iOS and Android: rooms, Crew, up to five sailings, 20 questions a day to Kai and three likes a day. Nauti Pro raises those daily caps and adds browsing and likes across the wider Nautir community.
Crew is the persistent connection layer in Nautir. Every sailing chat closes after the cruise, and that is the privacy contract. Crew lets you keep finding the people you click with on future cruises. You see when a Crew member boards a new sailing, so you can plan your next cruise around the people you actually want to sail with. Free for everyone, up to 25 people; Nauti Pro removes the cap.

The list is the same on every sailing: five rooms open to anyone on board, two adult rooms that need a verified government ID, and two lifestyle rooms that need that plus a lifestyle opt-in. A sailing starts with General and the others open as people on board ask for them, so you never walk into a wall of empty rooms. Anyone on the sailing can also request a password-protected room for a private group, which opens as soon as the request clears a moderation check. Everyone in a room is on the same voyage as you.

Yes. Tap anyone's avatar on a message in a room and their profile card opens with a Like button on it. It is the same like as in Discover, so it needs a verified ID and a shared sailing. It costs nothing, and free members get three of those likes a day.
